Best to ask the seller what kind of motor. Just to claify the previous, almost correct, statements: Old style synchronous motors were regulated by the mains frequency. Posted February 13, What options are there if the motor is 50hz AC and I want to use it in aus? Is there anyway to change the frequency or do you have to change the pulley? I think Aus is 50hz?

Posted February 14, Hi Heman, Just to save confusion and give everyone something to go on, which TT are you looking to import and what is it's power requirement? Is it something like V - 50Hz?? The step-down transformer and adaptor have since arrived and they both work just fine. The Clearaudio Clever Clamp uses friction to hold your record on the platter preventing it from slipping and making that "wow" sound.

And the clamp places no extra strain on your turntable's motor, unlike record weights. The Ikea Kallax offers four compartments that are perfectly sized to fit your vinyl records it will hold roughly albums.

Stepping up to a dedicated headphone amp means everything inside the box is designed to make headphones sound better. Getting a stereo amplifier enables you to connect hi-fi speakers, and this offers both better sound and true stereo separation. Most are fairly large but compact models can also be had.

The sky's the limit for how much you can spend on a pair of speakers.

Be aware, you'll need an amp or receiver to drive them.
